Our prayers for all animals continue to circle the earth, to
uplift humanity's consciousness, and to bless the animals themselves.
Thank you for joining people around the world who are praying this
prayer in many different languages but all with the same love:
"COMPASSION ENCIRCLES THE EARTH FOR ALL BEINGS EVERYWHERE"
Greetings of love and gratitude from
With the Eyes of Love: That is
the name of a book written by Reverend Christa Blanke. The
subtitle is “We are there with the animals. Dispatches from the
front line.” Christa and her band of Animals’ Angels follow
slaughterhouse trucks to their destinations. Along the way, if
they have the opportunity, they offer water, food, and the love in
their hearts—the only love from human beings these animals have ever
known. On a cold winter night, just days before Christmas,
outside a German slaughterhouse, she wrote:
pig looks in our direction.
At our tiny candles
Which keep going out in the draughts
of this winter night.
The pig looks in our direction.
Then she limps on,
Down the ramp.
Morituri te salutant.
We who are about to die salute you.
Doris weeps beside me.
She clenches her fists inside the
pockets of her black anorak.
The dignity of pigs is inalienable,
She says quietly
And lights another candle.
A Prayer for the Week:
Let us light candles this week in solidarity with Christa’s Angels and
say: This we know—that deep within the heart of every human
being, there lies the truth about you, dear animals of earth.
‘Though it may appear that you are owned by people, it is not and never
has been possible to truly own you. You are spiritual
beings, and your spirits are forever free. We stand in solidarity with
you, we weep with you, we behold your dignity with Eyes of Love and we
hold fast to the vision and the truth that soon you will all be free in
every way. May the blessings of Divine Love rest upon you and bring you
With Love, peace, and gratitude from Judy, and Will, Madeleine, and the Circle of Compassion team.
