All Nature Is In a Constant State of Praise
One of my favorite things about warm seasons here in Kansas is going to sleep to the sound of frogs, crickets, owls, and other musicians of the woods and streams.  No air conditioning, just open windows, the sweet smell of honeysuckle and music to make your heart sing.
 
The Cricket Choir
There are those who teach that all nature is in a constant state of praise.  And when you really “hear” with your heart and soul, you know that is true.  A while back I mentioned a cd of crickets singing.  The recording was slowed down and the result sounds astonishingly like a heavenly  human choir.  You can listen to it at www.theishayafoundationpublishing.org/cricket-cd.html.
 
This is part of the Divine Mystery that surrounds us everywhere and is in everything.
There is evidence everywhere that all of nature, every being, is an embodiment of praise, gratitude, and love!
 
Our Prayer This Week For All Animals to Have the Freedom to Sing
Divine Life Force that animates us all, help us to live in a state of praise, awe and wonder every day.  We hear the night songs and the day songs of free animals and they remind us to live in the now and to feel gratitude and love for life.  They also remind us that there are so many billions of animals whose voices have been silenced; those who cry out in anguish for lost babies and friends; those who moan in pain and fear at the hands of human beings.  To all of you who are suffering, we say: A new day is coming for your beloved families.  We hear your cries, and we will not rest until your songs of praise and love can once again be heard upon this earth.
