Balancing Masculine and Feminine Energy—a Huge Key to Animal Liberation:  Fathers Day and the Summer Solstice don’t always fall on the same day.  But this year they happen together this coming Sunday.  So as we prepare to honor fathers (and in our case, animal fathers as well), we also prepare to honor the Divine Feminine. The Summer Solstice is a time to honor the feminine energy of nurturing and to celebrate life, the earth, our own strengths and gifts, and to clear away negative thoughts.  What a great and mystical opportunity to bring these two energies into balance.  A devoted pair of red-winged black birds has built a perfectly round, soft nest in the cattails.  We watch them fly in and out of the cattails feeding and protecting their tiny babies, demonstrating for us what harmonizing masculine and feminine energies looks like.  When human male and female energies do attain such balance and harmony, then the wars against animals (and people) will end.

This Week’s Vision—As We Let Go of Negative Thoughts and Worries, We See Ahead to a World in Balance.  We give thanks for this cosmic and mystical opportunity to bring male and female energy into balance among human beings.  We see the domination and exploitation of all animals and humans becoming absolutely unthinkable.  We see the masculine energy of strength and the feminine energy of nurturing nesting together in infinitely loving ways.  We see all people learning from the animals and from spirit how to live in perfect harmony and cooperation with each other, each one offering his or her gifts and skills and  being helpmates to each other.  We see all people learning how to recognize and release negative thoughts so that they do not intrude on the new celebration of life.  We see the single, most radical concept ever proposed to us suddenly becoming understood in every heart.  Love One Another—All Others—becomes the guiding principle for all humanity. We attract what we think about most.  This week let us attract this vision into our world in every possible way.             

May compassion and love reign over all the earth for all beings everywhere.
