Greetings of love and gratitude from
Today is World Ocean Day. The
Waters and Those Who Live in Them Need Us.
Nations has established June 8 as a day to celebrate oceans and to take
action to save them. The theme this year is “Healthy oceans,
healthy planet,” and there is special emphasis on plastic pollution. As
animal activists, we take this a step further on this special day and
all week long to add to the theme--“Healthy ocean animals.” Yet
how can they be healthy in seas filled with plastic trash and other
toxins? How can they be healthy when they are relentlessly pursued and
killed by hooks, harpoons, traps and nets without any recognition of
their suffering and despair?
This Week Let’s Pray/Hold the Focused
Thought of Love and Healing for Every Ocean Being and the
Transformation of Every Human Heart.
The solution, of
course, lies with humanity transforming from users and dominators to
compassionate guardians. We know that we attract what we think
about most. Therefore, let us “attract” the radical
transformation of all human beings, and let us also send out tender
love and comfort to all our sister and brother dolphins, whales, seals,
sharks, squids, jellyfishes, turtles, lobsters, shrimps, rays, clown
fishes, and all the others whose delicate lives hang in the
balance. Dear ones of the ocean, wide and deep, we know you have
families and friends, and we honor you. We know that human beings
have declared war upon you, but there are many of us who are working
hard to end this war and to teach people who you really are. We
are your voices on land, and we will not rest until you are safe and
free, and the waters you live in are clean and healthy once again.
As always, with tears of gratitude, I send my thanks to each of you,
dear Prayer Circle members, for joining this circle of compassion and
shining the Light of Truth for all to see, so that one day soon, all
beings will live in peace together.
May compassion and love reign over all the earth for all beings
Thank you all for your devotion to truth, love, liberation and peace
for all beings.
With Love, peace, and gratitude from Judy Carman, and greetings from
Will, Madeleine, Tara and the Circle of Compassion team
