Prayer Circle for Animals Weekly Update from Judy Carman
May 4, 2015

Our prayers for all animals continue to circle the earth, to uplift humanity's consciousness, and to bless the animals themselves. Thank you for joining people around the world who are praying this prayer in many different languages but all with the same love:

Greetings of love and gratitude from Judy Carman

Iron Jawed Angels Today.  In the film “Iron Jawed Angels,” we got a glimpse of the suffering women endured in the U.S. in the early 1900’s.  As they spoke out for the rights of women to vote, to have autonomy, and not to be owned, they were beaten, tortured, incarcerated, and force-fed if they tried to fast in protest. Their sacrifices and suffering were not in vain.  Many more women in the world have freedom and rights today because of those angels and others like them around the world.  However, as we know, there are still billions of women and girls being raped, enslaved, and killed.  When I say “billions,” I am including all women and girls of all species.
What is at the root of this human-caused violence?  Humanity, as a whole, simply has not fully awakened yet from the barbaric mindset, based in fear, that in order to be safe and feel strong, a person must and has the right to dominate others—the more the better.  The result for animals?—billions of baby boy chicks killed, mother hens never allowed to nest and shelter their youngsters under their wings; mother cows repeatedly raped, robbed of their milk, and their children kidnapped and either killed or forced into slavery; mother pigs raped and incarcerated and robbed of their precious children whom they long to care for; mother dolphins, whales, and other sea animals dying in agony unable to protect their babes from the weapons of people.  The list of atrocities against mothers is almost too much to bear, but with an iron will we must do so for them.
Prayers, Mourning, Honor, Respect, and Promise.  Let it be that this Mothers Day inspires a mass awakening of humanity.  May every person who loves and honors their own mother, see with new eyes the tenderness and love that motherhood brings to the world no matter who the mother is, no matter what species she represents.  May every person who loves their own mother suddenly grasp, with deep understanding, that all mothers long to care for their babies and suffer great sadness when they lose them.  May every person who respects and cares about human mothers, open their hearts to all mothers and vow to go vegan in order to stop the suffering of sacred motherhood.  In honor of Mothers Day, may all people become iron jawed and vegan angels and refuse forevermore to support the violent industries that cause such immense pain and death.  We especially call on all human mothers to recognize their heart-link and their kinship with mothers of all species.
As always, with tears of gratitude, I send my thanks to each of you, dear Prayer Circle members, for joining this circle of compassion and shining the Light of Truth for all to see, so that one day soon, all beings will live in peace together.

May compassion and love reign over all the earth for all beings everywhere.
Thank you all for your devotion to truth, love, liberation and peace for all beings.
With Love, peace, and gratitude from Judy Carman, and greetings from Will, Madeleine, Tara and the Circle of Compassion team
