Prayer Circle for Animals Weekly Update from Judy Carman
February 23, 2015

Our prayers for all animals continue to circle the earth, to uplift humanity's consciousness, and to bless the animals themselves. Thank you for joining people around the world who are praying this prayer in many different languages but all with the same love:

"COMPASSION ENCIRCLES THE EARTH FOR ALL BEINGS EVERYWHERE"
Greetings of love and gratitude from Judy Carman

Missouri Puppy Mills Decline But Dogs Still Suffer: After a bill was passed several years ago increasing inspections and restrictions on puppy mills, over 1,200 have closed their doors in that state. Progress is being made, awareness is being raised, and millions of dogs go to sleep every night safe and loved by their families. Yet there are millions of other dogs who are still suffering in puppy mills or being eaten, chained, fought, beaten, experimented on, or abandoned. In his book, Guardians of Being (illustrated by “Mutts” creator Patrick McDonnell), Eckhart Tolle notes “The vital function that pets fulfill in this world hasn’t been fully recognized.  They keep millions of people sane. They have become Guardians of Being.”  The debt that humanity owes to “pet” animals is beyond measure.  And yet they continue to suffer atrocities by people who cannot see who they are.

Prayer for the Week for “Pet” Animals:  In his book, Tolle goes on to say: “Love is a deep empathy with the other’s “Beingness. You recognize yourself, your essence, in the other.  And so you can no longer inflict suffering on the other.”  This week we give thanks—a thanks that radiates out like the rays of the sun from our hearts.  Our gratitude is for the blessing of being able to feel this deep empathy.  And it is for being able to recognize ourselves in the dogs and cats, indeed in all the animals of the world. A great joy fills us in wave upon wave as we look into the eyes of one of our “guardians of being.”  We send this joy, this true-heart-knowing out to all the people of the world who are doing harm to these precious ambassadors of love.  As we breathe deeply, and imagine, we see each one of these people being gently filled with the light of truth and overcome with joy as their hearts expand, tails wag, they drop their weapons, and their hands reach out to caress their guardians of being.  Dear dogs and cats, “pets” of all nations, and all animals everywhere--you are not alone. You are not alone.  We will never leave you.  We are showing the world who you really are.

As always, with tears of gratitude, I send my thanks to each of you, dear Prayer Circle members, for joining this circle of compassion and shining the Light of Truth for all to see, so that one day soon, all beings will live in peace together.

May compassion and love reign over all the earth for all beings everywhere.
Thank you all for your devotion to truth, love, liberation and peace for all beings.
With Love, peace, and gratitude from Judy Carman, and greetings from Will, Madeleine, Tara and the Circle of Compassion team
