Prayer Circle for Animals Weekly Update
May 6, 2013
Our prayers for all animals continue to circle the earth, to
uplift humanity's consciousness, and to bless the animals themselves.
Thank you for joining people around the world who are praying this
prayer in many different languages but all with the same love:
"COMPASSION ENCIRCLES THE EARTH FOR ALL BEINGS EVERYWHERE"
Mothers’ Day is next Sunday, so I thought it would be good to focus our hearts and prayers on mothers everywhere this week. As Will points out in The World Peace Diet mother animals represent the sacred feminine and yet are abused in abominable and unthinkable ways. Mother pigs live in crates and are never able to make nests and cuddle their babies. Their babies are taken from them to be fattened and killed. Mother dairy cows are repeatedly raped to keep them pregnant and lactating while their babies are taken from them at birth so that human beings can steal their milk. Mother chickens never see their babes. Their eggs are stolen from them by the billions.
Mothers in the wild and in the waters are often unable to care for their babies due to habitat destruction, starvation, or being hunted or poisoned. Their collective cries of anguish and grief at the loss of their babies and families, along with all suffering human mothers, are heard and felt by all sensitive hearts. In honor of mothers everywhere, let us bear witness to this horror. And at the same time let us see the beauty of this mother love that will never die. It is that kind of love that will ultimately bring an end to this ongoing war against mothers and the sacred feminine. Love is what is true and real. Let us see it revealed in all its radiant beauty and visualize cows, pigs, chickens, wolves, manatees, dolphins—all mothers everywhere safe and free at last.
If you haven’t already done so, please join us at the Prayer Circle for Animals facebook page.
