Prayer Circle for Animals Weekly Update

Our prayers for all animals continue to circle the earth, to
uplift humanity's consciousness, and to bless the animals themselves.
Thank you for joining people around the world who are praying this
prayer in many different languages but all with the same love:
"COMPASSION ENCIRCLES THE EARTH FOR ALL BEINGS EVERYWHERE"
A major event for all animals is taking place on the 21st of March. That day is the United Nation’s International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. The symbolic date was chosen by the UN because it was that day in 1933 that the first concentration camp was completed in Dachau in Germany. And in 1960 on the same date, 69 people were killed when police opened fire on anti-apartheid demonstrators in Sharpville, South Africa. This day symbolizes and commemorates all those tortured and killed as a result of racial discrimination in all parts of the world in all times.
However, this International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination did not take into account the horrific acts of oppression and discrimination perpetrated on the animal nations by human beings.
Thankfully the animal rights initiative known as 269LIFE has chosen this same day for their third international 269LIFE event as a way of expanding the boundaries of discrimination to include all animals, not just human ones.
The number 269 is a symbol of the brands that are burned into the flesh of many animals destined for slaughter and/or some other use. Some people have been branded in solidarity with the animals. Others have had the number stamped on them with black ink.
The 269 demonstrations will take place in 40 cities around the world. The theme of the events is simply, passionately, clearly, truly—“We all are 269.”
This week let us pray and act in solidarity with these dedicated activists. Let us be with them in spirit if we cannot be with them physically and surround them with the Light and Love and Strength that they will need to speak “truth to power.” Their actions and words on that day will fill the universal energy field with compassion for all beings. In this way, consciousness will rise in the hearts of many more people, and we will draw ever closer to a world of peace for all beings.
