Our prayers for all animals continue to circle the earth, to
uplift humanity's consciousness, and to bless the animals themselves.

Good News for Elephants: Orange County, CA, recently voted to not allow elephant rides at their Fair. Activists played a part in getting that done. Hopefully this will help other activists prohibit elephant acts and rides at other fairs around the country.
Prayer for Elephants: Also, Aletheia Mystea has written a beautiful prayer for all elephants and specifically for Tembo and Sunda, the Topeka Zoo elephants whom our local Kansas group is trying to send to The Elephant Sanctuary.
HOLY BOLDNESS
Elephants represent and symbolize HOLY BOLDNESS in the wild. Elephants act regularly in boldness to guide, guard and grace their own herds.
They gather round their young, sick, weak and elderly members in a sacred, protective circle of love and compassion for each other, in Holy Boldness.
They rage in Holy Boldness when any member of their circle is threatened.
They mourn deeply for family members who are lost or fallen...they mourn from the depths of their souls, in Holy Boldness.
They share their grief, their joy, their pertinent life giving information with each other and other herds, if necessary, in generous Holy Boldness.
They walk the earth, they live the earth, they breathe the earth in, Holy Boldness.
They help each other out in a manner that we can learn from.
Tembo and Sunda have lived long enough in captivity without feeling the heart beat, breath beat and soul beat of the earth under their feet.
Let us act with HOLY BOLDNESS and free these majestic animals from their concrete and steel prison!!
May Tembo, Sunda and their elephant kin, know that through our prayers and actions, we are working for their freedom, with HOLY BOLDNESS!
Dear God, please help them to know how very much they are loved and that they are not alone.
Amen and so it is.
